St Mother Teresa Vichara Vedike holds successful general meeting in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Aug 23: The full-fledged general meeting of St Mother Teresa Vichara Vedike was held in the city on Friday under the leadership of the Vedike’s president, Roy Castelino, and was a resounding success. The participation of over 70 enthusiastic members further enhanced the spirit of the programme.

The colourful brochure of the Vedike was released on the occasion by president Roy Castelino, who handed it over to Stany Alvares, president of the Konkani Sahitya Academy.

Several members spoke during the meeting and offered their valuable suggestions to ensure the success of the upcoming programme on September 11.

The event was attended by prominent personalities including Santosh D’Souza Bajpe, president of the Catholic Sabha; Lakshman, leader of the Tribal Rights Coordination Committee; Dr Jeevan Raj Kutthar, principal of Yenepoya Educational Institutions; Flora Castelino, professor at St Aloysius College; Manjula Nayak, president of Samarasya Mangaluru; Sumathi S Hegde, women’s leader; and senior member Dolphy D’Souza.
