Mysuru, Aug 17: Bhagyalakshmi (88), mother of former Indian fast bowler Javagal Srinath, passed away on Sunday morning at her residence in Kuvempunagar, Mysuru.

She is survived by two sons, including Srinath, and two daughters.

The funeral will be held today at the crematorium at the foothills of Chamundi Hills.

Family members, friends, and admirers of the cricketer are expected to attend the final rites and pay their respects.
