Singer Anthony Daasan makes his Tulu debut with Roopesh Shetty’s film ‘Jai’

Mangaluru, Aug 15: The popular voice behind Sandalwood’s viral hit ‘Bangle Bangari’, singer Anthony Daasan, has now made his debut in the Tulu film industry. He has recorded his first-ever Tulu song for actor-director Roopesh Shetty’s upcoming film Jai, which also stars Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty.

The song and Anthony Daasan’s energetic voice has brought new excitement to the project. This marks his official entry into the Tulu film industry, and a behind-the-scenes video of the recording session featuring Roopesh Shetty and Anthony Daasan has already been shared on social media. In the video, the two also discuss the popularity of Bangle Bangari, which continues to trend even after the release of other hits like ‘Su From So’.

Speaking about the success of Bangle Bangari, Roopesh Shetty praised the song’s immense appeal, to which Anthony Daasan humbly responded, attributing the song's success to divine grace.

The song Daasan recorded for Jai is said to be high in energy and power-packed. Anthony expressed his excitement, stating that this is the first time he has sung for a Tulu movie. Roopesh Shetty confirmed that the video version of the song will be released soon and shared his joy over Anthony’s debut in Tulu cinema.

Regarding the film Jai, most of the shooting has been completed. Directed by Roopesh Shetty, the film features Suniel Shetty in a key role, marking the Bollywood actor’s debut in a Tulu-language film. The team is excited to bring this unique collaboration to the audience.
