Family Fashions relocated store inaugurated in Udupi

Udupi, Aug 15: The only large establishment in Udupi offering the exclusive ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ offer Family Fashions, has relocated to a new building 'Mandavi Capitol', near Clock Tower service bus stand Udupi, was inaugurated on August 15.

The relocated store of Family Fashions, a clothing store much loved by the people of Udupi, including children and women, was inaugurated by Mandavi Builders & Developers managing director Dr Jerry Vincent Dias by cutting the ribbon.

Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna, along with other dignitaries, traditionally inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Blessings were offered by Fr Vincent Crasta, secretary of the Catholic Education Society, and Fr Vijay J D’Souza, principal of St Mary’s English Medium School.

MLA Yashpal Suvarna, speaking on the occasion, said that, “Udupi district is growing rapidly towards development and has made progress in education, banking, and industry. Among these, Family Fashions has captured the hearts of many. The ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ offer is what sets this store apart from others. In today’s times, garments are in great demand. May this clothing store grow, attract more customers, expand further, and may the new branch succeed and win the hearts of the people.

In his address, Mandavi Builders & Developers managing director Dr Jerry Vincent Dias recalled that Family Fashions was the first to start a clothing store in Udupi 21 years ago and is still renowned today. Just as education and banking are developing, clothing businesses are also growing. He added that there is no question of shifting locations, once customers come here, they don’t leave without buying something. Only when people purchase clothing will the business thrive, he said, extending his best wishes.

On this auspicious occasion, partner Lancy D’Souza and building owner Dr Jerry Vincent Dias were felicitated.

Managing partner Family Fashions, Dolfi Victor Lewis presided over the event. Prashanth welcomed the gathering and compered the event. Partner Lancy D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks.
