Live Cricket Score: India Vs Australia - Second T20

Daijiworld Media Network

Sydney, Feb 3: Welcome to the latest edition of India's elusive search for a win in Australia. 4 Tests and a T20 game have already been lost, and India have almost forgotten how it feels to win abroad. But today is a new day, and Indian fans will continue to hope for a result in their favour.

Australia have won the toss and elected to bat.

Dhoni: The bowlers did their job. It was difficult with the wet ball but they did fairly well, so we remain unchanged. The wicket doesn't change a lot so it's the opposition who has to set the target, we will look to stop them. Batting up the order is an option, but in the shorter formats, there is always pressure in batting down the order so I prefer the youngsters to bat up in the line up and express themselves freely.

Bailey: Beautiful wicket. Looks hard and flat so we are batting first. McKay, Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch come in. We want to have a look at all the 14 guys before the World Cup so our preparations start now.

Teams:

India (Playing XI): Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni(w/c), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Rahul Sharma

Australia (Playing XI): David Warner, Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh, George Bailey(c), David Hussey, Matthew Wade(w), Mitchell Marsh, Brett Lee, Clint McKay, Brad Hogg, Xavier Doherty

So a spin dominated Indian attack once again, which means no place for Irfan Pathan yet. Vinay Kumar was India's best bowler in the first game and made it impossible for the team management to drop him. Australia on the other hand will look to test all their players.
