Gulf Retirees Association holds annual general body meeting in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Aug 4: The annual general body meeting of the Gulf Retirees Association – Mangaluru was held on July 29 at the Jamiatul Falah Auditorium, Kankanady, under the leadership of Muttur Hamza.

Joint secretary Yusuf Aladka welcomed the gathering, while secretary Jamaluddin presented the annual report. Treasurer Abdul Khader Bava submitted the financial report.

The event was graced by guests including Tayyub Salmar, and KKMA office-bearers Ayub, Iqbal, and Rehman Khan.

For the 2025–27 term, the following office-bearers were unanimously elected:

• Honorary president: Hamza Muttur
• President: Sahul Hameed Thangal
• Secretary: Melwyn Lobo
• Vice presidents: Adam Bairy, Mohammed Hussain Araki, Abdul Hameed Uchchil
• Treasurer: Abdul Khader Bava
• Joint secretary: Yusuf Aladka
• Executive committee members: Preetesh Kumar, Basheer Ahmad, Ibrahim Jogibettu, Ismail Sharif, and Abdul Razak Muttikal

Chief advisor Mohammed Bairy from Bollai was present at the event. The programme was compered by joint secretary Yusuf Aladka, who also delivered the vote of thanks.
