Mumbai, Jul 30: The Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists' Association, currently celebrating its golden jubilee, has appointed senior journalist P B Harish Rai as the chief convener of the golden jubilee committee.

Originally from Kukke Subrahmanya, Harish Rai is a former president of the association.

He presently serves as president of the Mangaluru Press Club and is also a member of the national executive committee of the Working Journalists' Association.
