Bengaluru, Jul 26: In a move to accommodate late applicants, the Department of School Education (pre-graduate) has issued a fresh directive extending the last date for admissions to I PUC (pre-university course) classes till July 31.
The department noted that despite multiple deadline extensions, several students are still approaching institutions seeking admission. Considering their requests, the final opportunity has now been granted, officials confirmed.
As per the revised order, students can secure admission by paying a total fee of Rs 2,890. This includes a regular fine of Rs 670 and a special fine of Rs 2,220.
Authorities have urged eligible students and parents not to delay further and complete the admission formalities within the extended window. This is expected to be the final extension for the academic year, sources added.
