Puttur, Jul 25: In a shocking road mishap, two Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses collided near Maranahalli in the treacherous Shiradi Ghat stretch of Sakleshpur taluk on Thursday afternoon, leaving 25 passengers injured.

According to preliminary reports, one bus was en route from Bengaluru to Mangaluru while the other was heading from Dharmasthala to Mangaluru when the accident occurred. The narrow ghat road and possible visibility issues are suspected to have contributed to the collision.
