Gali Janardhan Reddy, Sriramulu reunite, dismiss rift rumours

Koppal, Jul 21: Putting to rest ongoing speculation about a rift, Gangavathi MLA Gali Janardhan Reddy and senior BJP leader B Sriramulu publicly affirmed their unity at a party event in Gangavathi on Sunday.

Reddy, who is out on bail in the Obulapuram mining case, likened any past misunderstandings with Sriramulu to a friendly clash, saying, “If we ever disagree, it is like Krishna and Arjuna — never a true separation. Some try to exploit brief silences between us, but they are mistaken. We are always one.”

He further stated that the duo would tour the state together and work to strengthen the BJP. Reddy was earlier disqualified as an MLA following his conviction in the mining scam, but his membership was reinstated after the Telangana high court suspended the sentence.

Echoing Reddy’s sentiments, Sriramulu said, “We have resolved any past issues and are committed to uniting BJP leaders across the state. There are no disputes between us.”

Once known as the driving force behind the BJP’s rise in Ballari, the Reddy-Sriramulu partnership had reportedly cooled in recent years. Their reunion now signals a renewed alliance within the party's state leadership.
