Thane, Jul 19: In a shocking incident, a 39-year-old woman was killed after being pushed in front of a moving goods train at Diva railway station in Thane district during the early hours of Friday.
The crime occurred between 5:00 am and 5:30 am on platform number 5-6, according to Thane railway police senior inspector Archana Dusane. The accused, Rajan Shivnarayan Singh, a resident of Diva East, allegedly got into a quarrel with the woman, attempted to molest her, and then fatally pushed her onto the tracks.

"The woman tried to resist, but Singh grabbed her by the neck and pushed her in front of the oncoming train. She died on the spot," said Dusane.
