Bantwal, Jul 4: Owing to continuous and heavy rainfall in the region, the Bantwal taluk administration has declared a holiday for all schools and undergraduate colleges on Friday, July 4.
In an official statement, the taluk tahsildar announced the closure of Anganwadi centers, primary and high schools, government-aided and private institutions, as well as pre-university colleges across the taluk.
The public has also been advised to remain cautious and take necessary safety measures in view of the persistent downpour. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as rain continues to lash several parts of the taluk.
