Bengaluru, Jul 1: Bringing relief to thousands of students across Karnataka, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially opened the online correction window for UGCET-2025 applications from July 1 to 4, announced KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.
In a press release, Prasanna emphasized that only candidates who truly need to make corrections should use this facility. "If the details in your verification slip are accurate, you need not log in again just to check. Unnecessary login attempts may cause confusion," he cautioned.
As a result of this online facility, the offline document verification that was scheduled to be held at the KEA office from July 2 to 4 has been cancelled. Students who had booked slots for the same are no longer required to visit the KEA office and are advised to make necessary corrections online itself.
Corrections can be made in critical fields such as the RD number, category, income details, and 371(J) certificates. For Class 'A' candidates unable to download their verification slip due to failed online verification via SATS number, and for those applying under rural and Kannada medium quotas, verification must be completed at their respective colleges or nearest government PU college by July 4.
However, candidates belonging to categories from Class 'B' to Class 'O' who have not yet completed document verification are still required to physically visit the KEA office between July 1 and 4.
KEA's decision comes after over 10,000 students requested correction slots, making it impractical to summon such a large number of candidates to Bengaluru. This online initiative was also in response to numerous appeals made by parents during the CET seat allocation counselling held on June 28 across various locations in the state.
Students who successfully make corrections will be able to download their updated verification slip after July 5, KEA confirmed.
