Mumbai, Jun 25: A delegation from Okkaliga Sangha Maharashtra, led by its founding president and former Karnataka cabinet minister Dr K C Narayan Gowda, met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday at his office in the Mantralaya, the administrative headquarters of the Maharashtra government in Mumbai.
The delegation submitted a formal request seeking allocation of land or a plot at a subsidised rate for the construction of an Okkaliga community hall in Mumbai.



During the visit, the delegation also met the principal secretary of the Urban Development Department, Govindraj (IAS), and held discussions on the proposal.
Those present in the delegation included Okkaliga Sangha Maharashtra president K Raje Gowda, immediate past president Jitendra J Gowda, general secretary Gangadhar Gowda, and other members.
