Ganpat More appointed deputy director of education for Pune Division

Pune, Jun 21: Ganpat More has been appointed as the new Deputy Director of Education for the Pune division, marking a crucial administrative development. The post had remained vacant for several years and was previously handled as an additional charge by other officials in the education department.

The school education department also carried out a reshuffle of senior education officials across Maharashtra to improve administrative efficiency. RR Kankal has been transferred as the Deputy Director of Education for the Mumbai division, while Sanjay Kumar Dharma Rathod, who was serving as Deputy Commissioner at the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, has been appointed as the Deputy Director for the Nashik division.

Vandana Vahul, who previously held the post of Deputy Director in the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, has now been transferred to the Planning Department in the same role. Deepak Chavane from the same directorate has been appointed Deputy Director at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). Additionally, Nishadevi Bandgar has been transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner at the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations.

These changes are expected to bring improved coordination and stronger implementation of educational policies across the state.
