New Delhi, Jun 18: Amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, India has swiftly launched 'Operation Sindhu' to rescue its nationals stranded in the conflict zone. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that 110 Indian students have been successfully evacuated from northern Iran.

According to MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, the students were directed to cross over into Armenia under the close supervision of Indian missions in both Iran and Armenia. “India evacuated 110 students from northern Iran who crossed into Armenia under the supervision of our Missions in Iran and Armenia on 17th June. They departed from Yerevan on a special flight and will arrive in New Delhi in the early hours of 19th June 2025,” he said.

The evacuation comes as concerns mount over the safety of Indian citizens in the region following the latest flare-up in Iran-Israel hostilities. The government’s prompt action under Operation Sindhu highlights India’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens abroad in times of crisis.

From where to where?!?!?!?….Politicising the issue for self gain. The original ‘Operation Sindoor” remains meaningless until the terrorists are nabbed and brought to justice.
