London, Jun 11: England’s dominant 3-0 T20I series win over the West Indies has propelled several players up the ICC Men’s T20I Rankings, with veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid emerging as the biggest beneficiary.
Rashid, 37, was England’s key weapon throughout the series — registering figures of 1/22, 1/59, and a decisive 2/30 in the three matches. His consistent performances saw him climb to second place in the T20I Bowling Rankings with 710 rating points, just 13 shy of current No. 1 Jacob Duffy of New Zealand. He leapfrogged Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga and India’s Varun Chakaravarthy in the process.

Rashid’s rise marks a golden phase for England’s white-ball squad, which also dominated the earlier ODI series. Among other standouts, pacer Brydon Carse climbed 16 places to 52nd after picking two wickets in the final two games.
On the batting front, Ben Duckett’s blistering 84 off 46 balls in the third T20I earned him a massive jump of 48 places, reaching a career-best 16th position. Harry Brook also gained ground, moving up six spots to joint-38th after handy knocks of 35* and 34.
Despite the series loss, West Indies had individual highlights. Skipper Shai Hope’s consistent scoring earned him a 14-spot rise to 15th, while Rovman Powell’s unbeaten 79 in the final game broke him into the top 20. All-rounder Jason Holder also impressed, climbing 16 places to 26th in the All-Rounder Rankings after contributing 70 runs and a key wicket.
The rankings surge reflects England’s red-hot form ahead of upcoming global T20 tournaments, while individual performances across both sides signal fierce competition in the white-ball arena.
