Udupi, Jun 11: Sylvia Suvares has been elected as the new president of Sugamya district Women’s Federation Udupi district and Catholic Stree Sangathan, Udupi diocese for the term 2025-27.
The Central Committee election was conducted under the guidance of Fr Reginald Pinto, director of Sampada and Sugamya Women’s Federation Udupi at Mother of Sorrows Church Hall.
Other office bearers elected to the new central committee include, secretary Olivia Lewis Brahmavar, treasurer Hilda Fernandes Nakre, vice president Jyothi Baretto Kemmannu, joint secretary Laveena Sequeira Pamboor, and editor of Motiyo Magazine Preethi Fernandes Gangolli.
