New Delhi, Jun 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a key meeting with leaders of all-party delegations that participated in the global outreach programme linked to Operation Sindoor, India's diplomatic campaign following its military response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
The meeting, held at the PM’s residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, was attended by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, JD(U)’s Sanjay Jha, and others who represented India abroad to highlight the country’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism.

A total of seven delegations, led by both NDA and opposition INDIA bloc leaders, had visited 33 capitals across the globe, including the US, UK, EU, Russia, and several Middle Eastern and African nations, to rally international support against terrorism. The delegations included BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda, DMK's Kanimozhi, NCP (SP)'s Supriya Sule, and Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde.
“Met members of the various delegations who represented India in different countries and elaborated on India's commitment to peace and the need to eradicate the menace of terrorism. We are all proud of the manner in which they put forward India's voice,” Modi said in a post on X.
The outreach followed Operation Sindoor — a military offensive targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan, carried out in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror strike. The operation led to heightened military tensions and cross-border strikes near the Line of Control.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had earlier met with the delegates upon their return and briefed them on the ongoing diplomatic efforts and India's strategic messaging.
The delegations, consisting of over 50 current and former MPs and diplomats, underscored national unity in projecting a firm Indian stance against terrorism to the international community.
