Mangaluru’s Patsey Sera Castelino conferred PhD in paediatric nursing by RGUHS

Mangaluru, Jun 10: Patsey Sera Castelino, associate professor, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, Mangaluru has been awarded the degree of doctor of philosophy (PhD) in pediatric nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru.

Her thesis titled, 'Effectiveness of emotional intelligence skill training on enhancement of emotional intelligence of nursing students undergoing clinical experience in pediatric units of selected hospitals, Mangaluru'. 

Patsey Sera Castelino has been successfully guided by Dr Theresa Leonilda Mendonca, vice principal and head, department of pediatric nursing, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, Mangaluru.

Patsey Sera Castelino is the daughter of Peter Pius Castelino and Nancy Castelino of Milagres Parish, Mangaluru.
