New Delhi, Jun 9: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday hailed the eleven-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “transformational era” that has reshaped Indian politics, replacing the politics of appeasement with what the party calls the “politics of report cards.”
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters, party president J.P. Nadda said that Modi’s leadership since 2014 had not only changed the culture of governance but also redefined the nation’s political discourse. “Eleven years ago, politics was about dividing society on caste and religious lines, but today, thanks to PM Modi, we have shifted to performance-based politics,” Nadda said.

He praised Modi’s tenure as one marked by “visionary policies and bold reforms,” citing the abrogation of Article 370, the abolition of Triple Talaq, the enactment of a new Waqf Act, and the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) as defining moments.
“It’s not easy to summarize eleven years of achievements in a single press conference,” Nadda noted, but he emphasized that the Modi government’s reforms had laid the foundation for a “developed and self-reliant India.”
According to Nadda, the slogan “Modi hai toh mumkin hai” reflects the people’s faith that “even the most difficult tasks can be accomplished under his leadership.”
He also pointed to the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment, highlighting the 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies.
“The unwavering dedication to Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas remains our guiding principle,” Nadda said, adding that the government’s focus on transparent and futuristic governance would pave the way for the realization of Viksit Bharat — a developed India.
Nadda concluded by emphasizing that the past eleven years under Modi’s leadership represent a decisive shift in Indian politics — one that should be “etched in golden letters” in the annals of history.
