Mangaluru, Jun 3: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will organise a Konkani poets’ meet titled ‘Kavyam Vhalo – 3’ on June 7, at the academy’s auditorium.
Academy president Joachim Stany Alva will preside over the programme. On this occasion, senior writer and poet Naveen Kulshreshtha will be felicitated.
Noted patron of arts Sahu Kiran Pai will be the chief guest, while renowned poet Titus Noronha will deliver the keynote address.
Dr Flavia Castelino will chair the poets’ meet.
Poets who will recite their works include Maxin Ludwig, Suma Vasant, Godwin Pinto, George Ligory, Lloyd Rego, Aravind Shanbhag, Chelsea Pearl Castelino, Smita Shenoy, Roshan Crasta, and Irene Rebello.
All Konkani enthusiasts are invited to attend and participate in the event.
