Mumbai, Jun 2: Music composer Tanishk Bagchi, who has created the title track for the upcoming film Saiyaara, expressed his excitement about the song marking a fresh wave of romance in Bollywood music.

“I had a strong feeling that this song would mark the beginning of a new era of romance. Saiyaara was part of the film from the very start. Since I was involved from day one, the song perfectly blends with the story,” said Tanishk.

The title track, a heartfelt collaboration between Tanishk, co-composers Arsalan Abdullah and Faheem Nizami, is set for release on June 3, intensifying the anticipation for the film.

Sharing insights about his first association with Yash Raj Films, Tanishk said, “The name Saiyaara was given by Mohit Suri sir. Initially, the song had a different title. When I played it for him, he absolutely loved it, as did the YRF team.”

Tanishk added that director Mohit Suri guided the entire concept and closely collaborated with the composers to shape the track’s unique sound. “It was a beautiful collaboration between me, Faheem, and Arsalan. This song brings back the essence of old melodies with something fresh and original.”

The production was led by Tanishk and his team, featuring guitarist Kalyan.

Saiyaara, a romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in their Bollywood debut and is scheduled for release on July 18.

Tanishk is renowned for hit tracks like Vaaste, Bolna, Ve Maahi, and recreations such as Aankh Maarey, Dilbar, Jehda Nasha, and Lut Gaye.
