Of the current active cases, 225 patients are under home isolation, while 13 are being treated in hospitals. Notably, one hospitalised patient is on oxygen support, the department stated.

Health authorities conducted 420 tests across the state in the past day, comprising 354 RT-PCR tests and 66 Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs).

Officials have reassured the public that the situation is under control, even as surveillance continues and containment efforts are being stepped up. However, the department stressed the need for continued public caution.

“There’s no cause for panic, but citizens must remain alert and follow precautions,” the bulletin said.

Despite the small surge, the health fepartment maintains that it is prepared to manage the caseload and is actively tracking emerging clusters.
