Woman dies by suicide jumping from 23rd floor in Vikhroli

Mumbai, May 27: Mumbai police on Tuesday reported the tragic death of a 25-year-old woman who allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 23rd floor of a building in Vikhroli’s Kannamwar Nagar area on Monday night.

The victim, identified as Harshada Tandolkar, was reportedly mentally disturbed, though the exact reasons behind her drastic action remain unclear. According to officials, Tandolkar fell onto a parked motorcycle below, resulting in fatal injuries that split her body.

Local residents alerted authorities immediately, and police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) as part of the preliminary investigation.

The case is currently under further inquiry.
