Two held for attempting to trespass into Salman Khan's home

Mumbai, May 23: Mumbai Police have arrested two individuals for attempting to trespass into Bollywood star Salman Khan's residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (West) on separate occasions this week.

The accused Jitendra Kumar Singh (23) from Chhattisgarh and Isha Chhabra (32) tried to enter the heavily guarded premises on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Singh was first seen near the building Tuesday morning and later managed to sneak in by following a resident’s car. He was detained and handed over to Bandra Police. During questioning, he claimed he only wanted to meet the actor.

Just hours later, Chhabra reached up to the apartment’s lift area before being stopped by security and arrested.

Both have been booked for trespassing.

This incident comes amid heightened security for Khan following last year’s firing outside his home by men linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The actor remains under Y-plus security and has made major upgrades to his residence’s protection.
