Fr Victor welcomed to Omzoor parish; heartfelt farewell given to Sr Therese, Sr Aurelia

Mangaluru, May 18: A short and graceful welcome programme was held on Friday, May 16 evening to welcome Fr Victor D’Souza, the new residential priest of Omzoor Parish.

Fr William Menezes, along with the Parish Pastoral Council office-bearers, received Fr Victor at the main entrance of Holy Family Church, marking the beginning of a new pastoral chapter. The welcome ceremony included prayers, words of greeting, and expressions of joy from parishioners who gathered to witness the occasion.

Fr Victor thanked the parishioners for their warm welcome and shared his joy in being appointed to serve at Omzoor, expressing hope for a fruitful journey together.

On Sunday, May 18, Holy Family Church bid a fond farewell to Sr Therese Madtha and Sr Aurelia Gaga of St Charles Borromeo Convent, thanking them for their devoted service, spiritual leadership, and unwavering dedication to the parish community.

As they move on to their new assignments, Sr Therese and Sr Aurelia carry with them the prayers and deep appreciation of the entire Holy Family Church community.

In the meantime, Sr Sabeena was given a floral welcome as she continues her mission in St Charles Boromeo Convent.
