Mumbai Metro Line 3 extends operations to Worli, enhancing city connectivity

Mumbai, May 10: The Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, began services on its new stretch from Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to Acharya Atre Chowk in Worli on Saturday, marking a major milestone in the city’s metro expansion.

Previously, the Aqua Line was operational only between Aarey (JVLR) and BKC in the suburban region, with that section launched last year. The extension into the island city is expected to significantly ease commuting between central Mumbai and the bustling business district of BKC.

Alongside Line 3, the city's suburban metro network includes Line 1 (Ghatkopar–Andheri–Versova), Line 2A (Dahisar East–Andheri West), and Line 7 (Andheri East–Dahisar East), all of which continue to serve as vital lifelines for daily commuters.
