Shanghai, May 10: Team India delivered a stellar performance at the Archery World Cup Stage 2 in Shanghai, securing three medals — gold, silver, and bronze — in the compound events on Saturday.

The Indian compound men's team struck gold after a solid victory over Mexico in the final. The trio of Abhishek Verma, Ojas Deotale, and Rishabh Yadav edged out their opponents with a 232-228 scoreline, displaying impressive consistency and composure throughout the match.

In the women’s team final, Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Madhura Dhamangaonkar, and Chikitha Taniparthi clinched silver after falling to a dominant Mexican side, 221-234. Despite the tough loss, the Indian women impressed with their overall performance during the tournament.

India also picked up a bronze in the mixed team event, rounding off a successful campaign and reaffirming the country’s growing strength in the global archery circuit.
