Dubai, Jan 5: One lucky customer, Rajanikanth Gazalla Gangaram, got the best surprise of 2012, when he won a Nissan Sunny in the first monthly draw of New Year Fest promotion of UAE Exchange, the leading global remittance and foreign exchange brand. 25 other lucky customers won their transaction amount back in the second among the four fortnightly draws planned as part of the promotion. The lucky draws were held on January 2.

Rajanikanth, working for Aggregate Manufacturing Plant in Fujairah, hails from Andhra Pradesh state in India. He has been working in the UAE since the past two years. The transaction, which he conducted through UAE Exchange, last month, has brought him the good fortune.

The New Year Fest, which is on till February 3, offers more exciting prizes in the upcoming two fortnightly draws, one monthly draw and a mega draw. Customers just need to make a transaction at any of the UAE Exchange branches in the UAE, to qualify for the corresponding fortnightly draws and the monthly draw along with the mega draw.

Out of the total 100 winners from four fortnightly draws, 50 have won so far. More 50 customers will get their transaction amount back in their respective payout currencies, up to a maximum of 10,000 each, from the remaining two draws. One monthly draw will give away a Nissan Sunny car, as the prize. The mega draw will see the lucky customer driving home a Nissan Xterra.
