New Delhi, Dec 26 (IANS): Sania Mirza will lead the four-member Indian team in the Fed Cup Asia Oceania group to be held in China from Jan 30 to Feb 4, All India Tennis Association (AITA) announced Monday.
National Champion Rutuja Sampatrao Bhosale and Isha Lakhani are the other team members for the tie to take place in Shenzhen, China. Sharmada Balu and Kyra Firdaus Shroff have been named as reserves.
Rohit Rajpal will be the non-playing captain and Enrico Pepirno the coach.
India were relegated to Group II after they lost all their round-robin matches and the play-off rubber in the last edition in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
