Dubai: Ramakshatriya Sangha Holds Blood Donation Camp to Mark 40th UAE National Day

Dubai, Dec 14: Ramakshatriya Sangha organized a blood donation campaign to mark the 40th UAE National Day here at Al Wasl Hospital recently, which was attended by large number of donors.

President Sandeep Rao, who has successfully conducted many events in the past for Sangha dedicated the blood donation campaign to the 40th National Day of UAE and said that the beautiful nation has always provided a safe shelter for all expatriates living and working here, it is their turn to serve the nation in form of blood donation.

Blood Donation Centre’s Clinical Scientist Madam Reem Al Suwaidi and all the Staff of Al Wasl Hospital acknowledged and appreciated members of Sangha for their active participation.

The campaign kicked off at 11.00 am and received a large number of Sangha members with their friends from all communities. It was more special as it saw increased ladies participation.

Some of the prominent members of other communities who participated in this noble cause are patron of Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah Mark Denis, ex-president of Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah Ganesh Rai, Yadav Kotian, general secretary of Mogaveers UAE Sugandhraj Bekal, general secretary of Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah Satish Poojary, Anand Bailoor of Billawas Dubai & NE, Shodhan Prasad of Nama Tuluveru UAE, Rajesh Bekal of Marghadeep Samskriti Samithi and many including Muslim brethrens and Malayalam Community Members participated in the camp.

Now Ramakshatriya Sangha joins some of the other Community organizations like Mogaveers UAE, Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Karnataka Sangha Dubai, UAE Amchigele Samaj, UAE Padmashali, Kodagu Dakshina Kannada Gowda Samaj, UAE Bunts, Billawas Dubai & NE and Billawa Balaga Dubai, who are actively conducting regular blood donation camps every year.

Some of the prominent senior members of Ramakshatriya Sangha G K Rao, Pravin D Rao, Gopinath Rao, Basant Bekal, Sugandhraj Bekal, Amarnath, Deepak Kotekar also donated blood.

Other members of the Sangha who participated in the camp include Sandeep Rao, Rajesh Bekal, Manjunath Kasargod, Pravin Upoor, Mahesh Hawaldar, G S Rao, Taresh Rao, Sashikant, Ashok Hawaldar, Sujaya Sandep, Smitha Upoor.

    Congratulation to Mr. Sandeep Rao N Team , I thank all the donors , different organizations and their eminent personalities for taking time and attending this noble cause also Donating Blood for the Children Suffering from a Rare Disease Thalassaemia. One Donor's Blood ( One Unit 450ml )can save 3 to 4 children.
    We Mogaveers UAE, hereby request all the Indian /Karnataka Associations and Community people to come forward for the noble cause. There are 750 Children/adults who are suffering from Rare Disease and they need 50 units of Blood per day, By Donating Blood it would decrease the Possibility of having heart diseases and strokes. It also activates the bone marrow to produce new Blood cells, So Pls Donate With Love.
