Live Cricket Score : Final Test (Day 4) - India Vs West Indies

Daijiworld Media Network

Mumbai, Nov 25: The second test match between India and West Indies seems to be heading towards a draw, with West Indies having scored a mammoth 590 in the first innings, and India nicely settled at 281 for 3 at stumps on day 3.

However, day 4 will be interesting for fans of maestro Sachin Tendulkar, who is just 33 runs away from that golden 100 which will not only get him the unique record of 100 tons in international cricket, but also fetch him 100 gold coins from the Mumbai Cricket Association. The wait has been long, and on November 25, all eyes will be on only one man. It will be a huge disappointment to his hometown if he does not get there.

The wicket so far has nothing to offer the bowlers. The track is dull, with no bounce and no spin either. It is a pity that Gambhir and Dravid missed out on centuries. It has been a batmen's match throughout, and Ashwin was lucky to scalp five on this pitch. India need another 110 to avoid follow-on, which they should be able to get easily unless there is a sudden collapse.

The rock-solid Dravid once again showed his class as he blended his innings with patience and belligerance. He crossed the 13,000 mark in test cricket, and also went past 1000 runs in this calendar year.

The West Indies will be hoping to get some quick wickets early on and unsettle the middle order. With two greats of world cricket - Laxman who is on 32, and Tendulkar on 67, it will not be an easy task, especially given the laziness of the track.

Will Tendulkar finally get that magical figure and enter the golden annals of history again? We will know soon.
