Mr.Don said correctly, without fixtures, one team will not come to the final in all these 3 years. should play in sports spirit, not by saying that i am good and proud of being a member of team.

It's sheer determination to score a HATRICK on KCWA CUP made us Winner. With two professionals of the SU team (Manager & chairman) sitting outside & calculating all the possiblities made the Playing 11 to do the job required inside playing Yard. Come prepared next year & we will be there to face you again... All the best...SU Rocks...

The deserving team is the one which tops in wins, points and strike rate. Sharq United was on the top of the list in the qualifying round. SU did not get any easy teams in the initial rounds but with their commitment they made the matches look easy by playing professionally.

Hello everyone and specially to the Organizers......
What is the difference between Miyar X1 and YMCC? one team won both the matches and one team lost both the matches....both are out from the contest...
First time in Cricket history i had seen a team winning all the league matches and they are out of the tournament....Is there any logic?
Please keep away these bonus points from the tournament coz this makes a unbeatable team to go out from the tournament...
Hope things will change next year and will see a deserving team taking the Winners trophy....
    Thanks and Regards.....

I do not understand why people use fake id's and comment. Every person has a right to comment but in a reasonable way. Please do not hurt anyone.

KCWA has been successfully conducting the cricket tournament for the past 4 years. Unfortunately , Sharq United lost in the first year but they took the defeat positively which helped them win for the next 3 years.

Thank you all for you comments. Any comment will help Sharq United perform better next year. Watch for it..

KCWA has done a wonderful thing by introducing KCWA Cricket Cup in Kuwait.Being a part of KCWA it was a pleasure to organise this event which had a tremendous response from the members especially cricket enthusiasts. It was a great day of Cricket where the teams participated with great spirit and descipline.
There was a lot of planning done before the tourney and the rules and regulations were put forward to the teams much in advance before the fixtures. The fixtures were done in the presence of the captains and team representatives.
All in all it was a wonderful tournament with Sharq United winning the Cup and creating a Hatrick of victories..Congratulations!!! to Sharq United and Udupi Friends for being the winners and runners up of the 2011 edition of KCWA Cricket Cup.
Ultimately it was cricket the winner !!!!

    Dear steevan misquith, mangalore
For your kind information the rules of the games were not given on lots before the match. The rules were same for all the teams and published well in advance. Sharq United had done their homework and came prepared with all the permutations and combination which was the main reason for their victory. I feel that Sharq United did not disclose their real performance till the final match, which all the teams were strongly watching in the league matches to defeat them in the finals. Regarding YMCC I would clearly like to mention that if they had scored that one bonus point, they would have surely been in the semi-finals. The commentator was regularly updating on the target for the bonus point, and even after that YMCC could not take that bonus point which made them to move out of the semi finals.I salute Sharq United Team members for their sportsmanship spirit. Congratulations Sharq United once again !!! Better luck YMCC next year and I wish to see you in the finals of KCWA Cup 2012.
@Mahesh Prabhu: We would like to see you during KCWA Cup 2012. Manu will you with the date to mark your calendar.

Alwyn, mangalore i fail to understand whether your comments are to dony or to YMCC
YMCC knew all the rules and it was sheer bad luck to loose by one bonus point..
We all are sportsmen and we know how to take defeat in a sportsmen spirit.. ( correcting you coz you are targeting YMCC )
@dony thank you for your support , come next year and cheer for us again..

@ Dony ... better luck to you next time man! This time SU won. Period. Luck factor always plays an important role in a game and SU is always thankful to God Almighty apart from religious cricket practice every week!

Whoever you are, unfortunately Don of YMCC is facing the heat because of your 'Nagesh Nayak' style behavior. Poor Don has been calling everyone saying that he is not the 'Dony' who wrote those dirty comments.

And finally for the cheap words you used, I truly wish to give you the deserved peace of mind. But, unfortunately Daijiworld would not be able to publish that language.

So you are lucky. Hence, please take a walk!

I will be there in person next year to watch the KCWA tourney let's sit together and watch all games! Whatever be the outcome next year SU will take it most positively. This is SU's culture and will always be maintained. Cheers :)

@Don my dear friend, has all knew at the lots the draw was designed with the numbers.for eg: 1 meets 2...3 meets 4 but the team was decided depending on the order in which it was picked...so there was not planned or any conspiracy against any team no favoring or any consideration...i know u all played well but has fate was because of the bonus point system u all dint made it to the semis...its a sports one has to win and other has to loose...take it in good spirit...come back next year with more enthuse n make the tournament more interesting n fun..cheers to the organizing committee and the members for such a wonderful event which was fought so keenly and the teams to the semis where decided in the last league match...this shows the quality of the teams...good show all-round...

Well Dony I feel sad for your team YMCC after winning both the games still the team was out on point basis, rules of the game was given to all the team and mind you I have done my homework with my team very well, got ourselves prepared for any scenario, 1st game and the second game we finish the game in 3 and 5 overs respectively and plus we grabbed maximum number of wickets and took the maximum no. of points plus the bonus points to qualify for the semi finals, we had a very similar situation in 2010 and we were at the mercy on the outcome of the other teams and that year our team was very superior compared to the absence of our giant all rounders Steven Mathias and Kiran Lobo who were not able to make it to this years KCWA Cricket tournament-2011. Sharq United is a very old team founded by cricket lovers since 1997 and it has grown from strength to strength and from all states of India players are playing for Sharq United, come what may we play throughout the year, leaving Good Friday. Anyway there is no hard feeling, we have to always cheer both the winning and the losing teams in true sportsman spirit. Well Dony you can surely plan and come prepare for the next tournament of KCWA, all the best.
Jai Ho SU I really feel the proud moments of 18th Nov. 2011, it was my dream and my team has fulfilled my dreams, thank you SU you all have hit a HAT TRICK.

I know there were better teams in the league. But ultimately 'Jo jeeta wohi Sikander'. Apart from capabilities and talent you also need some luck in cricket.

For your information all the captains were present during the fixtures, except Miyar XI who had no objections to any outcome of the fixtures.

@ Dony...why are you asking this to Kiran???

If you ever are a sportsman and with all due respect to every single team that played in this tournament, please be kindly informed this SU unit practices every single Friday (except good Friday) - be it 5 degrees or 55 degrees temperature be it rain or shine be it peace or war ... and that's why they were blessed with this hat trick. No one on earth can take this credit of victory away from SU!!!

I was leading the team when we lost the inagural KCWA tourney finals in 2008 we did not complain ... its a sporting game my friend! As players on the field, we give our 100% but one can still lose. I'm sure YCMS gave more than 100% but a loss is still possible.

Please do not try to dilute the praiseworthy efforts of this team. SU defended a very low score of 40 runs against Udupi Friends. And top of all you are aiming at Kiran my God ... he has been the Glenn McGrath of this team for years together.

Dony ... please be a gentleman and re-do your comments! SU will always welcome fair criticism. They are made of humans too exactly the way YMCS or the other 8 teams are made of!

Hats off SU ... I'm so proud of you that I wish to show off with a loud title here below :)

    Cheers always ...
