UAE: A Joyous Day to Mark Tenth Anniversary of St Francis of Assisi Church

UAE, Nov 7: St Francis of Assisi Church, Jebel Ali here will celebrate their tenth anniversary of consecration of their church and to commemorate this occasion the parish has planned a day full of fun, frolic, entertainment and food festival on Friday November 11 from 10 am to 10 pm in their church premises. 

Various communities (Malayalam, Tamil, Konkani, Sri Lankan, Philippino, European, International, Korean, etc.,) will put up a food stall each catering food of their delicacy.

There will be various games stall for kids as well as for adults.  Special attraction would be the Bouncing Castle for the kids.  Various communities will showcase their traditional song and dance entertaining the crowd for full day. 

Masses for the day will be as follows:

English – 6.15, 8.00, 9.30AM.  5.30 & 7.00PM
Philippino (Tagalog Mass – 12.30noon
Tamil – 3PM, Malayalam – 4PM.

Around 3000 plus people are expected to take part in the festival that would be enjoyed by all age groups. There is a lucky dip for the grand prize of a car and then 15 other prizes.  The entrance is free.
