Mumbai: Thiya Samaj Felicitates Community Veteran Rohidas Bangera

Mumbai, Nov 7: The metro-based Thiya Samaj felicitated Rohidas Bangera, proprietor, Golden Wheel Hotels, and president of Thiya Samaj governing council, during a simple function held at Dr M Vishveshwarayya auditorium of Karnataka Sangh, Matunga (West) here on Sunday November 6 afternoon.

Thiya Samaj president Chandrashekar R Belchada presided over the function.



Chandrashekar Belchada felicitated Rohidas Bangera in the presence of Billawar Association president Jaya C Suvarna, Vishwa Tulu Sammelan Committee vice-president Dharmapal U Devadiga, veteran entrepreneur and Ganiga Samaj vice-president Kutpady Ramachandra M Ganiga, entrepreneur Sudhakar Shetty, Thiya Samaj honorary secretary Babu Ail, honorary treasurer Ramesh N Ullal, and health fund committee president Timmappa Bangera.

Thiya Samaj vice-president Sudhakar Ucchil, council members Shankar C Salian, Suresh Bangera, Anand Karkera, Sundar T Bangera, Thiya Samaj east zone regional committee president Kannappa Bademar, women’s wing president Vranda Dinesh, west zone regional committee president Narayan Salian, women’s wing president Chandra M Suvarna, Thiya Jyothi, bulletin editor Sridar S Suvarna, and Shankar C Salian were present on the dais.

Arvind welcomed the gathering while S Amin rendered the prayers.  Cha – Parka Tulu play troupe Mumbai convener Karnoor Mohan Rai compered the programme.  Babu Belchada proposed the vote of thanks.

Tulu play ‘Kalakambula’ was staged by Cha – Parka troupe promoted by ‘Telekida Bolli’ fame Devdas Kapikad as part of the entertainment programme to mobilize funds for the health programme of Thiya Samaj on the occasion.
