Jubail: DISA Hosts Unique Get Together for Socio-Religious Organizations

Jubail, Oct 31: Jubail unit of Darul Irshad Saudi Arabia (DISA), which is the promotion committee for Darul Irshad Education Centre (DIEC), Mani hosted a unique get together ‘Goodwill gathering’ for all socio-religious organizations working in the area.

All the participant organizations have a single mission of serving the educational and social needs of the community. Understanding the need of coordination between these organizations DISA brought them together for the betterment of community.

Jubail Unit of DISA also honoured Hamza Haji Mithur, who is leaving Saudi Arabia for good after living here for over 30 years, on behalf of social service fraternity of Jubail.

Hamza Haji Mithur has been a resource person and intellectual guide for all these organizations for over two decades now.

The programme commenced with recitation of Quran by Farook Usthad Kuppetti.

In his inaugural address Usthad Haneed Sa’adi lauded initiation taken by DISA in bringing different organizations to one platform, where in they can discuss the issues that bothers everybody.

He reminded the audience efforts of by Shaikuna Mani Usthad in building DIEC and advised social workers to follow him.

National president of DISA Arabia Ishaq Haji Medarabettu briefed the activities of DIEC, Mani.

Ismail Kinnya, working president of Dakshina Karnataka Sunni, which is one of the biggest organizations with around 15 thousand members all over gulf countries, explained how his organization has been striving for educational progress.

He also appreciated the noble intention of DISA and promised to work hand in hand to achieve the common mission of helping out the community.

Farooq Kanyana, president of the Jamyiathul Falah (JF) and the promotion committee of Markazul Huda Educational Centre briefed the activities of JF and Markazul Huda. He stressed the need for making Markzul Huda committee stronger as this is supporting the cause of Muslim women’s education in the district.

Ashfaque, president of Karnire Relief Organization (KRO) said how his organization is uniquely helping community by providing Saudi work visa to a member of needy family of Karnier and Balkunje area.

Ismail NGC, a generous supporter of all social activities of Bearys in Jubail Area, had represented his Krishnapura based organization and explained how they are reaching out to the poorer section of the community.

GM Anwar Hussain, honorary president of DISA and the president of Goodinabali Welfare Association briefed how Goodinabali people have supported the needy section of their Jamaath and expressed happiness that expatriates from the region are taking up lead role in many organizational activities of Mangaloreans here in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia.

 Abulrahman Panaje, a resource person for many organizations advised the gathering on social activities. Farook Usthad Kuppetti represented Manshara Saqafathil Ismailyya and Moosa Poodal represented Darul Ash’ariyya and Haneed Sa’adi had represented Imam Navavi Madrasa for Qur’an and Sunnah and the promotion committee of Jamiya Sa’adiya Arabia.

Hamza Haji Mithur was felicitated by Ishaq Haji and Ismail NGC. Shaik Balkunje and GM Anwar Hussain presented Hamza Haji with a memento.

Hamza Haji Mithur expressed his gratitude for the love and affection shown by the social service fraternity of Jubail. He recollected his active association with DKSC, Darul Irshad, Markazul Huda and Jamyiathul Falah.

Hamza Haji gave useful tips to run the social service organizations and made the social service fraternity feel that they are indeed going to miss a person of Hamza Haji Mithur’s stature.

Abdul Hameed Aramex made initial remarks and urged the participants to utilize the opportunity to air their views to make it a fruitful effort.

President of Darul Irshad, Jubail Shaik Balkunje welcomed the gathering and Kamarudeen Goodinabali delivered vote of thanks.

He appreciated the support of youngsters who selflessly assist in making logistics and other assistance available to conduct programme.

Kamarudeen, who anchored the program, set the tone for discussions by outlining the intention of convening this kind of gathering.
