Mangaluru: Institute of Aviation Studies at Srinivas University celebrates International Yoga Day

Mangaluru, Jun 23: "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self," said the Bhagavad Gita, embracing the essence of International Yoga Day, Institute of Aviation Studies at Srinivas University celebrated with enthusiasm in collaboration with Decathlon.

The institute marked this day with a vibrant programme, including a yoga session led by Sanvi Shetty, yoga trainer, Decathlon. Rahul, Sooraj, and Sashwith from Decathlon organized diverse activities for the students offering a range of engaging opportunities.

Aishwarya Shetty, faculty, Institute of Aviation Studies, welcomed the gathering. The students of the institute actively participated in the session, practicing various postures and meditation techniques followed by various activities with winners receiving goodies from Decathlon.

The day concluded with a peaceful meditation session, leaving participants rejuvenated and inspired to incorporate yoga into their daily lives. Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies and Anjana T V, HoD, Institute of Aviation Studies, were present in the programme.
