Mumbai: Gov Sankaranarayanan Launches 12th Convention of Syro Malankara Catholic Church

Mumbai, Oct 26: The Governor of Maharashtra K Sankaranarayanan inaugurated the 12th Biennial Convention of the Syro Malankara Catholic Church hosted by the St Mary’s Malankara Catholic Church in Mumbai on Tuesday October 25.

The Convention of ETRI Malakarities is being attended by 1500 delegates from 45 parishes across India.

Dr Thomas Mar Titus, Marthoma Bishop of Mumbai,  Geeverghese Mar Coorilos, Syrian Orthodox Bishop of Mumbai,  Abraham Mar Julios, Bishop of Muvattupuzha, Cardinal Oswald Gracious, Archbishop of Mumbai, Fr Vinayanand OIC, Chancellor, MCC-ETRI, Rev. Jacob Mar Barnabas, Bishop of MCC-ETRI and Daniel Babu P, president, Mumbai-Vasai Pastoral Council were present on the occasion.
