Kaup: 25-yr-old woman on job hunt from Honnavar goes missing

Kaup, May 1: A young girl and a native of Honnavar who came to Udyavar in search of a job has gone missing.

Prema (25), a resident of Honnavar taluk Kasarakoda Malabara Keri, who was living with her sister, is the girl who has gone missing since April 15.

Prema had come from Honnavar to work in a prawn factory at Pithrodi of Udyavar where her sister Divya worked. She stayed in a local room. On April 15, she went out of the room on the pretext of going to a nearby shop at 6.30 pm but did not return afterwards.

A missing case has been filed with Kaup police station by her brother Manjunatha Nagesh Ambiga.

Prema is five feet tall with a wheatish complexion. She was wearing a red colour chudidar top and black leggings. She is conversant in Kannada, Konkani and Hindu languages. People with knowledge and information of Prema's whereabouts are requested to contact Kaup police station on 0820-2551033.
