Bengaluru, Apr 20: Mangalore University former senate syndicate member, founder of Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology and social activist, M G Hegde has been appointed as the member of Karnataka state education Niti Ayog sub-committee.

M G Hegde is also a spokesperson of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).

Hegde is known for his sharp wit and fluent oratory. He has worked as the general secretary of district Congress and district spokesperson.

He is also known as a social activist more than a Congressman fighting for various causes.
