Daijiworld Media Network – Byndoor (MS)

Byndoor, Apr 20: A married woman from Puttur eloped with a young man from another community, sparking a confrontation when her husband attempted to address the situation. The husband alleges that the incident is a case of love Jihad.

Pratima Bhat, wife of Suresh Bhat and a resident of Puttur Kemmayi, eloped with Sirajuddin, a native of Puttur Kuriya Ballamajalu who works as a driver in an ambulance in Puttur. The primary accused in this case is Siju, also known as Sirajuddin, from Puttur, also known as Sooraj from Byndoor.

Suresh Bhat, the husband of the eloped woman, Pratima, was verbally abused and physically assaulted by a member of the other community when he attempted to confront his wife. A complaint has been filed in connection with this incident. Suresh currently resides in Koorse, Kalthodu village.

Yes Rita; your analysis is right; I have seen a couple of cases, in Mumbai, where the bride has run away with her real lover right after the nuptials after coming out from the church 🤣.... "Panchi pinjre se furr ho gaya" 😂

First of all blaming any soceity .one has to find out whether this woman was already in love with the muslim boy ?But parents got her married to the present husband(Bhat).?And she now eloped ?Findout first. Many times parents force girls to marry own community when they come to know she is in love with someone else? Now no use of blaming each others community. She herself chose her life now.Cant make reverse.Look forward and he should (jiltedhusband )can marry someone else after applying for divorce. She might feel the difference or her mistake after sometime?

.... something else.. is very wide & macro in nature.., if one makes an attempt to narrow down to veg or non veg then it can be further narrowed down to either bee* vs ಬಸಲೆ.., it makes me recall an age old advertisement tag line .. it goes like this : Boost is the secret of my energy...!!! our energy...!!!! so be it...,

It's sad ,what is happening. I hope such actions should not take place. It is a shame to the family of the lady and her community. Such actions will lead to community hatred. Action should be taken by the community and such things should be avoided.

She is from a noble, worshipper, community; if she runs after whomever caste right in front of her husband out of her free will it's a big shame on him; where comes the question of jihad, force, occult possession etc etc; can anybody bring her back??

no one thinks about future, such love affairs ending tragically over the time !! na ghar ka na ghat ka !! some one can show any success on such elopements ?? time only the answer. falling for the gimmick. i dont say its love jihad, all are matured enough to think, but sex & outer world make them blind.

If it was same community affair it would have not received so much attention... Fact here is that the lady has gone with her own will... Husband should thank the opportunity and find someone better... When the beefy boy's nose starts smelling the real odor of the woman reality will strike back....

when a adult woman has eloped with all her senses with a beefy boy how that can be termed as love jihad? it is true that her husband is annoyed....but first that woman should be asked by police whether she is taken forcefully or she has gone on her will...everyone knows that beefy boys are in demand...
