Dubai: United Kambad (UAE) forms new working committee

Dubai, Apr 17: United Kambad(UAE) formally held an event on March 31 at Classic Family Restaurant in Al Quasis Dubai.

A new working committee was formed and Nayeem Khan was appointed as the president along with Fouzan Ahmed as the secretary of the organisation.

There was disruption in functioning of the committee due to the pandemic. This event gave a new spark to the existing scenario as it witnessed the presence of over 150 + members.

The programme formally began with Qirat by Javeed Khan, followed by introduction of committee by Jailor Parvez. Further, the new committee was formed of active members with the name 'UNITED KAMBAD UAE'.

An iftar party and Maghrib prayer had been organized for over 150 people from Gurukambla community. There was presentation done by Nayeem Bangadi briefing on the works carried out in past by the organisation and setting new goals to be carried out in the future. Finally, the programme concluded with vote of thanks from president Nayeem Khan followed by dinner.

United Kambad(UAE) is an organisation belonging to the community of Gurukambla and was formed in the year 2008 with the very intention for betterment of society and upliftment of the unprivileged.

Below are few objectives the working committee are working for:

1. Financial assistance for underprivileged
2. Financial aid for Medical Treatment 
3. Medical Camps and Blood Donation
4. Empowering the youth
5. Undertaking infrastructure related activities
