Dubai, Apr 17: The first-ever Indo-Arabia beauty pageant, Mr & Miss Eclectic International '24, orchestrated by the Urban Edge under the visionary leadership of Hera Pinto & Lloyd Denzil, culminated in a mesmerizing spectacle. Following an exhilarating tour across the GCC and several cities in India for auditions, the grand finale in Dubai dazzled audiences with its splendor.
A rigorous four-day grooming session primed the finalists for their moment in the spotlight at the Millennium Airport Hotel on April 14. A diverse array of guests, including Dubai local guests, industry experts from the realms of fashion and beauty, graced the occasion with their presence.
Yaqoob Ali presided as the chief guest, alongside esteemed guests of honour James Mendonca and Joel Crasta, distinguished Mangalurean NRIs. The panel of judges, comprising eminent personalities – Kevin Oliver, Hanif Shaikh, Shama Vazid, and Aziz Zee – brought their discerning eye to the competition.
From a pool of 12 finalists representing 6 GCC nations and India, the victors emerged:

Vrinda Verma from Qatar
1st runner-up: Dimitra Lobo from Oman
2nd runner-up: Renesaa Walder from Oman
**Mr Eclectic International '24**:
Rahul Rametri from Dubai
1st runner-up: Johan Mathias from Mangaluru
Cash prizes totaling 6,000 AED, 4,000 AED, and 3,000 AED were awarded to the winners, complemented by gift hampers from assorted brands and exclusive offerings from Earthy by Elenza, Mangaluru.
The seamless production by Broadway Events & Production garnered widespread acclaim, while the musical ambiance, expertly curated by DJ Arun & DJ Roland, set the stage alight. Roland Pacheco's captivating voiceovers added an extra layer of allure to the proceedings.

The women’s outfits were elegantly curated by Priya Fashions, Dubai, and Hera Pinto Couture, with glamorous ensembles. While the Men's wear, styled by Celebrations by Barcode, Mangaluru, exuded sophistication and panache.
Many attendees expressed that it was by far the best and most well-organized fashion event they had attended in a long time, a sentiment echoed by guests who lauded the event’s flawless execution and distinguished standards.
The synchronization of lights, music, and choreography elevated the event to new heights, earning praise from all quarters.
