Mangaluru, Apr 15: Congress Lok Sabha candidate for Dakshina Kannada district Padmaraj R Poojary has expressed his commitment to utilise the opportunity in politics for social development. He emphasised his dedication to the advancement of backward communities during a meeting held at the Sundari Laxman Bangera auditorium in Panambur.
Padmaraj stated, “I never aspired for a career in politics. However, due to the encouragement of others, I felt compelled to enter this arena. I have always upheld the ideals of Brahmashree Narayana Guru and engaged in social work. Now, with the opportunity in politics, I intend to focus on uplifting backward communities and economically disadvantaged sections of society. I will regularly seek inputs from people of all communities regarding their grievances every three months. Furthermore, I firmly believe that education and health care should be universally accessible.”
