Brahmavar, Apr 10: “The BJP has committed a big scam by getting the highest donation in the country through electoral bonds,” alleged KPCC spokesperson Sudhir Kumar Maroli.

Speaking at a press conference in Brahmavar, Sudhir said, “Any private organizations could donate to national political parties and there was transparency. Now the BJP government has done a scam called electoral bond which involves secret donations to national political parties, ignoring the objections of the opposition parties. The order given by the Supreme Court is welcome.

“The central government's request for time till June 30 through the SBI, violating the order of the Supreme Court, was also an attempt to cover up the scam during the election. Also, it is clear from the SBI information that BJP has involved in the scam by getting the highest percentage of donations in the country. Especially the fact that BJP has received donations through electoral bonds from Pakistan, which is considered as its enemy, has exposed BJP's hypocrisy,” he said.

Sudhir also added, “The Congress party has an internal democracy and there is no confusion here. Before the announcement of the candidate for the election, we were all aspirants, but after the announcement of the candidate by the party high command, we all joined the campaign work by showing support to the candidate like ordinary workers.”
