Kundapura, Apr 9: “I have also given contribution for Rama Mandira. But I will never do politics in the name of god,” said K Jayaprakash Hegde, Congress candidate for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency.
Hegde was speaking to scribes at Kota. He further said, “The process of elections have just begun. Meeting are being held with party workers and issues are also discussed. After a few days, the party will visit homes on a door-to-door campaign trail."
“I have not criticised my opponent candidate in my political career. I always seek vote on my achievement and capabilities. I am confident that people will vote for Congress this time,” Jayaprakash Hegde said.
