Mangaluru, Apr 4: Dakshina Kannada's BJP MP candidate, Capt Brijesh Chowta, filed his nomination at the DC office on Thursday, April 4, for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Supporters of Capt Chowta organized a procession from the BJP election office at Bunts Hostel to Townhall.

Capt Brijesh Chowta was accompanied by Nalin Kumar Kateel, Sunil Kumar, Kota Srinivas Poojary, C T Ravi, Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Bhagirathi, Umanath Kotian, Rajesh Nayak, Dr Bharath Shetty, Vedavyas Kamath, Madhav Gowda, Arun Kumar Puthila, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Yashpal Suvarna, Suresh Shetty, Monnapa Bhandary, Prathap Simha Nayak, Balkrishna Bhat, Padmanabha Kottary, Mallika Prasad Kottary, Nithin Kumar, district JD(S) youth president Akshith Suvarna and others.

Sathish Kumpala, the BJP district president, expressed, "Initially, we aimed for a small delegation to accompany Capt Brijesh Chowta during his nomination application. However, today's turnout unequivocally demonstrates the future of BJP in Dakshina Kannada district. The overwhelming response from the public has left everyone here delighted. I extend a heartfelt welcome to all present. Capt Brijesh Chowta diligently engages with party members, addressing their concerns daily. It is evident that victory is within reach for us in Dakshina Kannada. With its robust foundation in Hinduism, Dakshina Kannada district will remain a stronghold for Hinduism for years to come, with Capt Brijesh Chowta poised to become our next MP."

Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "Today, our candidate Capt Brijesh Chowta, along with Sathish Kumpala, Sunil Kumar, C T Ravi, Kota Srinivas Poojary, and Madhav Gowda, is filing his nomination. The BJP is poised for victory once again. The substantial turnout here underscores our determination to achieve this milestone. With the election dates announced, we are assured that on June 4, the counting of votes will confirm Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India once more. The people of our nation have decided to entrust BJP with another opportunity, and the youth leaders and Yuva Morcha have played a significant role in the district's development. Today, our party has selected Capt Brijesh Chowta, and victory for BJP is certain. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the liberation of Kashmir, a longstanding aspiration, has been realized. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spearheaded India's development, and we must send Capt Brijesh Chowta to support him in this cause. Once again, the BJP's victory flag will fly high in Dakshina Kannada. Moving forward, we must engage with the people and elucidate the accomplishments of Narendra Modi and his government. I urge everyone to extend the same support to Capt Brijesh Chowta as they have given me in previous elections."

Capt Brijesh Chowta expressed, "I want to emphasize that our party is one of the largest political parties globally, and I come from a humble background as a former soldier. Today, I stand here holding a position, and with the support of the public, India can achieve development. I earnestly pray for the continued love and support from the public for the BJP. Let us strive to reclaim Dakshina Kannada as a stronghold of the BJP in the next 20 days. It is imperative that we disseminate the message of Narendra Modi and connect with every individual."

C T Ravi said, “The BJP wave is sweeping across India, and in Dakshina Kannada, we are witnessing a saffron surge. With Kota representing Udupi and Chowta representing Dakshina Kannada, the lotus symbol must prevail over the Congress. Our family's and city's votes should unequivocally support the BJP. The Kerala government's excessive borrowing has led to the bankruptcy of their state, thanks to Siddaramaiah's economic policies. In Karnataka, inflation rates are soaring, burdening citizens with exorbitant stamp duty and registration fees. They unjustly redistribute wealth from men to women, claiming it as their own. However, women should understand that this money originates from their husband's pocket. We reject anti-Hindu politics and slogans praising Pakistan. Organizations like PFI aim to transform India into Pakistan and support Congress, but we will not allow it. The saffron wave will penetrate every household. Just as Vajpayee lost one seat in his time, we must remember that the future of our country and your family rests on the leadership of Capt Brijesh Chowta and Narendra Modi."

Kota Srinivas Poojary said, "Today, as I held Capt Brijesh Chowta's hand during the rally, we reaffirmed our commitment to victory. Just as we join hands in the parliament, we must unite for the future of our country. These elections are pivotal for India's development amidst the challenges of terrorism. I urge everyone to recognize that this election transcends BJP; it is about the progress of India. Will you support those who chant slogans praising Pakistan within our sacred Vidhana Soudha? This institution is revered by Indians, and only praises for Bharath Mata should resonate within its walls. However, Congress leaders propagate slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad.' Even the accused in the Cooker blast were embraced as 'fellow brothers' by the Congress. Narendra Modi is the epitome of leadership capable of steering our country. Despite past financial challenges, India has emerged as one of the strongest economies, all thanks to Narendra Modi. India's stature has risen to the extent that even global powers like America and Europe struggle against China, but Narendra Modi has provided the right responses. Let us visit every household, spreading the message of Narendra Modi, and secure a resounding victory. I implore everyone to grant us the opportunity to represent you in parliament by voting for the BJP."

Capt Chowta submitted his nomination papers to the returning officer and deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan.

The election is scheduled for April 26, where he will be contesting against Congress candidate Padmaraj R.

Everyone knows Padmaraj is far better than Chowta, but unfortunately same people will vote for saffron, this group having standard protocol to select candidate, so he is successor to Kateel, just imagine how he would be. This fraternity trying to encash by portraying he is ex-serviceman. , but psychology of saffron is saffron irrespective of their professional background
