Kundapur: Police arrest five thieves within 48 hours of fancy store theft

Kundapur, Apr 4: The police have arrested five individuals accused of stealing from a fancy store in Gangolli within 48 hours of the crime.

The arrested include Sulaiman alias Nadeem (27) from Gangolli Lighthouse, Mohammed Arif (18) from Gangolli fish market, and Mohammed Rayyan (18) from Bhatkal. Additionally, two minors were also apprehended. The suspects have been presented in court, while the minors were brought before the Juvenile Court Board.

Police seized Rs 52,000 in cash, the stolen mobile phone, an auto-rickshaw, a bike used in the crime, and three mobile phones belonging to the suspects.

The successful operation was led by Gangolli Police Station's SI Harish R, along with Basavaraj Kanashetty, and PCs Mohana, Nagaraja, Chandrashekhara, Sandeepa Kurani, and Sathish. SP Dr. Arun K commended the team for their swift action in apprehending the suspects shortly after the incident.

The theft occurred on the evening of March 31 at a cloth and fancy store located in the Gangolli Jamia Mosque complex. The theft took place while the staff were attending evening Namaz, resulting in the loss of Rs 90,000 in cash from the cash counter and a mobile phone worth Rs 15,000.

    Dr .kusuma Nellore,dont defend them .Just look at their age some are still 18years Education null?When one wants can work even in field Workers are rare in village areas.Why should go to steal rickshaw and other articles phone etc?Where and what their Parents say to this?

    Big Lesson here for all senior citizens, do not trust in anybody.... most are only after property, attached interests like managing property and suck money, and real money.... and misunderstandings and rifts within family's are created mostlyby the inner circle or someone close either for material gains, upmanship Or sadistic pleasure; there are people within the family to gaslight and later fan the flames till the family is in destruction mode...nobody would know who did it...however,. no parents should have the misfortune of seeing such days before going back to the creator...
