Unable to meet Amit Shah, rebel Eshwarappa vows to contest polls against BJP

New Delhi, Apr 4 (IANS): Claiming that Union Home Minister Amit Shah refused to meet him in the national capital, rebel BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, K.S. Eshwarappa, said on Wednesday night that he has not decided to withdraw his decision to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls as an Independent candidate.

Speaking to reporters here, Eshwarappa said, "I was not able to meet the Home Minister. Also, I have not decided to withdraw my decision to contest as an Independent candidate.”

“The Home Minister had asked me to come to Delhi. That's why I came here. However, after reaching Delhi, I got a call from his office informing me that Amit Shah was not available for a meeting. This means there are no qualms with me consenting as an Independent candidate. This also means that B.Y. Raghavendra, the BJP candidate from Shivamogga, should get defeated."

Raghavendra is the son of former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.

"The latest developments indicate that I should go ahead and contest the elections against Raghavendra. I will contest the elections against the BJP. And with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, I will win the polls,” Eshwarappa claimed.

Eshwarappa is reportedly miffed with the party’s decision to deny a ticket to his son K.E. Kanthesh to contest the Lok Sabha polls from Shivamogga. Earlier, the party had also denied a ticket to Eshwarappa to contest the Assembly polls in Karnataka held last year.

Eshwarappa has also vowed to get B.Y. Vijayendra removed from the post of state BJP chief.

Both Vijayendra and Raghavendra are Yediyurappa's sons.

Eshwarappa is the senior-most BJP leader in the state who built the party from scratch in Karnataka along with Yediyurappa and others.

Now Amit Shah will make a big statement and try to be honest saying I sent word to him that I am busy, so he should waited little more or asked for another appointment date. This is how BJP treats its loyalists but there is no treatment for blind worshippers. They learn only after hurt and hurt very badly time and again when they kill thier own for vote gain and publicity.

Show your contribution to society show your to poor show your contribution to minorities show your contribution to humanity show your contribution schools institutions or infrastructures. You loser’s deserve nothing in leadership role because you people waste tax payers money for own selfish interests

This decision of BJP will have terrible repercussions on election and prospects of BJP rattling it to the core. No wonder Amit Shah earned the honours of Murder Accused Tadipar for his highest misadventures yet this is his small foot note but his cupboard is overflowing with innocent skeletons and oozing blood about to be exposed. Eshwarappa will expose it by sweet talk and ugly homages.

This Eshwarappa has no self respect. On one side he is threatening high command and on other side dancing to their tunes. Even if he contests, he should only worry about his deposit. Winning is only a dream. After losing he will say that he lost just to prevent Congress from winning..

The fact that many sitting MPs didn't get ticket, the Gujju high command felt that either they were nonperformers or corrupt and wouldn't win. It applies to Eshwara beppa who was denied ticket for the last sate assembly elections. Now he wouldn't get more than 25,000 votes -just see on the day of counting
